Happy ShopaHAULic Saturday! My makeup haul for today actually contains some products I’ve bought a couple of weeks back. I’ve already been road testing some of them, but it’s only now that I got the chance to share this haul.
It’s already summer here but I haven’t been to the beach this year yet. Last summer, my husband and I went to the beach almost every week which gave me a really beautiful tan. I went from NC20 to NC35 in a matter of 2 months. 😀
But this year, the only body of water I have seen so far is Manila Bay, just because we have a view of it from our balcony. Not because I went swimming there, lol! The only thing reminding me that it’s summer is the heat. Which made me look for a matte foundation which I can use during these months when my skin tends to produce more sebum.
MAKEUP HAUL: MUFE, LAURA MERCIER, ASIAN BEAUTY
I only have a couple of things in this haul, which makes it a mini haul. I haven’t been out much this week because I’ve been really busy. But I’m glad that it gave me an opportunity to finally share some of the stuff I bought a couple weeks back.
SMOOTH FINISH FLAWLESS FLUIDE
First off is Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Flawless Fluide. It’s supposed to give a matte finish which should be fitting during summer when skin tends to oil up more. What I like about it is that it’s very lightweight. It’s like you’ve got no foundation on.
It comes in a tube with no pump. Of course it wouldn’t have a pump or else it would look weird, right? 😀 Its packaging reminds me of Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua, but this one is a bit tricky to use. But more on that in the detailed review. 😉
I bought it for Php2,250 from Laura Mercier in Glorietta 4. It is a bit pricey, but still worth checking out if you’re into matte and lightweight foundations.
MAKE UP FOR EVER
LIQUID LIFT FOUNDATION
Would you believe that Make Up For Ever HD Foundation is not my best ever Holy Grail foundation anymore? It’s because of Make Up For Ever Liquid Lift Foundation. It had surpassed my love for the HD one.
I will be posting my review on this soon, so you’ll find out why I now love this better than the other one. It costs Php2,700 and it’s worth every single cent.
MAKE UP FOR EVER
Make Up For Ever Aqua Liner is another product from the brand that I really love. It applies very easily, lasts long on my oily lids and the color payoff is really awesome.
I bought the shade 2. It costs PhP1,550 which is almost double the price of K-Palette 1Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner, but it doesn’t dry out as fast. This is now one of my HG products.
MAKE UP FOR EVER
ROUGE ARTIST INTENSE
I don’t have enough deep berries and plums in my makeup collection. It’s because I’m still just getting used to wearing dark lipsticks. I’ve had Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Intense 46 for a few weeks now and even used it in color comparison swatches in some of my posts.
I will try to post my full review on it soon, so you can see how pretty it is. I bought it for Php1,400 from MUFE in Mall of Asia. I think that its price is reasonable enough considering how gorgeous the shade is. Plus, the formula is awesome as well.
ASIAN BEAUTY BRANDS
LANEIGE WHITE PLUS RENEW
This is actually a repurchase. Laneige White Plus Renew Skin Refiner had been my favorite toner for more than a year already. The White Plus Renew line is the only skincare product line by the brand that is kind to my skin.
It costs Php1,450 which is a bit expensive for a toner, but because my skin gives me little to no choice, I still buy it. 😀
I will probably review it or feature it when I post my skincare routine. That is, if I don’t forget to do so. Lol!
THE FACE SHOP REAL NATURE MASKS
HONEY, LEMON AND POMEGRANATE
All three of these The Face Shop Real Nature Masks are some of the items that I’m giving away in my International Giveaway this April.
I haven’t tried them yet, so I bought one of each for personal use. I have really high hopes for these masks because I’ve heard so many good things about them. 🙂
I hadn’t bought any lipstick this week because I have already bought a few too many last week. The only lipstick in this haul had been bought a few weeks back. I’m not sure if I can stop myself from buying a lipstick again next week, though. Lol!
I’ll try to review these products in the coming days, so be sure to watch out for them. For now, I hope you’re having a great weekend!
