Happy ShopaHAULic Saturday! I am so happy because I have finally received the first batch of my Chanel Spring 2015 Makeup Collection haul. The Collection Reverie Parisienne is not yet available in Manila, so I had bought just a few items from the collection from Nordstrom instead.
Chanel Spring 2015 Makeup Collection
COLLECTION RÊVERIE PARISIENNE
Beauty blooms with a captivating colour collection inspired by the springtime gardens of Paris. Vibrant corals lend balance to wistful, satiny shades of pink, creating an enchanting spectrum of shades that range from delicate to deep.
I had wanted to buy the star of the collection, the 3D Flower blush: Camelia Rose. But, it can only be shipped via ground (Free Shipping) and I didn’t want to wait that long for my haul. So I decided not to get it yet, and will just buy it once the collection arrives here in Manila.
Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush, $45
Because I couldn’t buy Camelia Rose blush yet, I decided to get Angelique first. Before my package arrived, I was a little bit anxious because I didn’t know if I’ll really like Angelique blush. And then it arrived. I immediately swatched it on my arm upon opening the box (after washing my hands and cleansing my arm, of course). I haven’t even photographed it yet, but I just couldn’t resist. It looks so good! I’m glad that it didn’t disappoint. Now, all I’ll have to check is how it will deliver when applied on the cheeks. But the color is love at first swatch! 😉
Chanel Les 4 Ombres Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow, $61
238 Tissé Paris
From the 2 new eyeshadow quads in the collection, I only got one, Tissé Paris. I forgot that the other one, Tissé Fantaisie, is a Limited Edition. I should have gotten that instead because I can always buy Tisse Paris anytime. But I’m still happy with the one I bought. The colors look so fresh in the pan.
Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour, $27
645 Paradisio (Limited Edition)
Out of the 3 nail polishes in this collection, the one that stands out for me is Paradisio. It looks similar to Chanel Jade nail polish, but I have yet to swatch them together to check. All 3 nail polishes are Limited Edition, so I might buy the other two when the collection hits our counters.
Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimer, $29.50
194 Crazy Fuchsia
I bought Crazy Fuchsia, which is a shimmery fuchsia. I thought it would be the same as Chanel Jalousie Glossimer which is also a bright fuchsia, although I can’t remember if that one has shimmers. It had been a long time ago since I’ve given that away, so I don’t remember and I can’t check anymore. But this one looks promising! It looks very pigmented, too. 🙂
I’ll have to swatch Fleur d’Eau first before I decide if I want to get it. Since it is a bright orange, I am not yet sure if I want to add it to my collection.
Chanel Rouge Double Intensité Ultra Wear Lip Colour, $35
57 Darling Pink
This is the first time that I’ll be trying out the Rouge Double Intensite Ultra Wear Lip Colour. Because it is always not released in our country, I hadn’t been able to try it yet. But, I’m really very curious about this product. So I decided to get Darling Pink, which is a soft pink, instead of the coral one, Coral Dream. The other end has a clear gloss, which I’m not sure I’ll use anyways. But I’ll still try it though. Who knows, I might like the combination of the two. Especially since that is how it’s intended to be used. 😀
I’m excited to try these out and will be reviewing them all this week. Until then, have a great weekend!
