This Savvy Sunday, I will tell you about the latest thing on my mind. The Chanel Spring 2015 Makeup Collection Reverie Parisienne.
Today is the last day of our holiday vacation, well that is for most of us. The joyful feeling of the Holiday season is still felt all around, as well as the holiday weight still carried. Must remember to workout regularly to shed off the extra pounds gained during the Holidays. I think I’ve gained more than 5 lbs from all the eating and drinking last month, lol!
In the makeup world, the Holiday season is long forgotten already. In fact, it’s already time for Spring… Spring Collections, that is. But I don’t mind, because I’ve been waiting a long time for the Chanel Spring 2015 Makeup Collection to be released. It had already been released before Christmas in the US, but here in Manila there is still no news as to when it will become available. 🙁 I’m already thinking of just buying it from Nordstrom and have it shipped here. Check out the items in the collection below, and you’ll see what I’m anxiously waiting for. Especially the Jardin de Chanel blush which is so gorgeous! 🙂
Chanel Spring 2015 Makeup Collection
COLLECTION RÊVERIE PARISIENNE
Beauty blooms with a captivating colour collection inspired by the springtime gardens of Paris. Vibrant corals lend balance to wistful, satiny shades of pink, creating an enchanting spectrum of shades that range from delicate to deep.
Jardin de Chanel, $55
Blush Camélia Rosé (Limited Edition)
First off is the star of the collection, the 3D Flower blush: Camelia Rose. This Limited Edition blush is beautifully embossed with camelias, Gabrielle Chanel’s favorite flower. It is a gorgeous mix of rose and pink shades in a powder formula with a soft, fine and silky texture.
A romantic blush with irresistible charm to sweep over cheekbones like a springtime breeze. Slipped into a pouch, the black lacquered case highlights a delicate powder and reveals a raised camellia motif. A duo of pinks, one delicate and one more intense, recalls the delicate grace and purity of the favorite flower of Mademoiselle Chanel. It makes cheeks blush with all the freshness of spring.

Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush, $45
Chanel Angelique blush is housed in the regular Joues Contraste blush packaging, yet its coral shade pretty much appeals to me as much as Camelia Rose blush does. It seems to be similar to Frivole but I’m not entirely sure as I still haven’t seen it in person. Can’t wait! Lol. You don’t know how glad I am that this is not a Limited Edition, basing from what I see on Chanel’s website. 🙂
Unique powder blusher offers buildable coverage, from natural to dramatic, and imparts a flattering radiance to cheeks. Remarkably silky texture ensures easy application of seamless colour. Applied high on the cheekbone, or near the eyes, it instantly ‘lifts’ and softens the face for a more youthful look.
I have now reviewed Angelique. Click here if you want to see more photos, swatches and read my detailed review.
Chanel Les 4 Ombres Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow, $61
236 Tissé Fantaisie (Limited Edition)
238 Tissé Paris
There are 2 new quad eyeshadows in the collection. Tissé Fantaisie is the one pictured on the left and Tissé Paris is the one on the right. I want to get both, but with the expensive price tag, I might have to choose only one. I have yet to decide which one I would get, but one thing to note is that Tissé Paris is not a Limited Edition. Yay!
Eyeshadow redefined. The new LES 4 OMBRES features a vibrant, pigment-rich formula in palettes inspired by threads of Chanel tweed. Each easy-to-wear compact offers endless possibilities, with two medium tones to colour and contour, a deep shadow to intensify and a light shade to highlight.
Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long Lasting Eyeliner, $32
Ardoise seems to be an intense gray with hints of green. I’m intrigued with this color so I’m excited to swatch it soon. Hopefully it will have a creamy smooth formula like the recently released Stylo Yeux eyeliners.
Waterproof, smudge-proof eyeliner delivers long-lasting definition with a twist of the wrist: Colour winds up when you need it, winds down when you don’t. Gentle, soft, silicone-enriched formula delivers smooth, even lining. A built-in sharpener at the opposite end detaches for quick refreshes.
Intense neutrals define an enticing eye look.

Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour, $27
641 Tenderly (Limited Edition)
643 Désirio (Limited Edition)
645 Paradisio (Limited Edition)
All of the nail polishes in this collection are Limited Edition, and I think I’m going to buy them all. But if I have to choose just one, it would be Paradisio which looks to be a shimmery, pearlescent light green. Tenderly seems to be a light mauve and Desirio a pinkish red.
Classic and trend-defining shades in an exclusive formula that strengthens and moisturizes nails as it delivers high-shine colour. Applies evenly without streaking. All Chanel nail products are formaldehyde-free, toluene-free and DBP-free.
Chanel Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour, $35
154 Badine (Limited Edition)
Insaisissable is a bright coral red and Badine is a light pink.
The next generation of ROUGE ALLURE dresses lips with unmistakable attitude. A new formula with concentrated, ultra-thin pigments offers radically intense, long-wearing colour with full coverage and a satin finish. Leaves lips supple and protected with lasting comfort.

Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour, $35
49 La Pétillante (Limited Edition)
50 La Romanesque
La Petillante is a coral red and La Romanesque is a plummy magenta.
Elevating matte to a new elegance, this next-generation, non-drying matte lipstick glides on lips with intensely rich, long-wearing colour and a sumptuously soft, velvet matte finish.
Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Hydrating Sheer Lipshine, $35
Desinvolte is a soft coral and Etourdie is a shimmery raspberry red.
The next chapter in the brilliant ROUGE COCO SHINE story: ROUGE COCO SHINE Hydrating Colour Lipshine, an innovative formula with intensified pigments to take colour and sheen to a new level of vibrancy. Sheer, shiny, colour-rich shades are effortlessly chic, infinitely wearable. Hydratendre Complex softens and plumps lips for a healthier, fuller appearance.
Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimer, $29.50
192 Fleur d’Eau (Limited Edition)
194 Crazy Fuchsia
Fleur d’Eau is a bright orange and Crazy Fuchsia is a shimmery fuchsia. Would you believe that if it hadn’t been for this collection, I wouldn’t have known that I had been spelling the color incorrectly since my high school days. But I’m not alone in this. I had only found out today that because of how it’s pronounced, a lot of people also spell it as fuschia instead of fuchsia. 😉
Gorgeous shimmer and a high-shine glow is delivered effortlessly to lips with just one stroke of this best-selling lipgloss. A wide range of shades, from sheer and natural to sparkling and rich, look beautiful on their own, or over your favorite Chanel lipstick. Equally beautiful: the conditioning formula’s comfort, deep hydration and long wear.

Chanel Le Crayon Levres Precision Lip Definer, $29
91 Rose Délicat
Rose Delicat is a light coral and Capucine is a warm-toned red.
Enhance the shape of your lips and give them perfect definition with this creamy-textured pencil. Long-lasting, full-coverage colour with a semi-matte finish glides on to soften and soothe lips, and ensures lipstick stays in place while extending its wear. Makeup-artistry touches for the most professional-looking result: a built-in brush for blending, and a lip pencil sharpener for precise application.
Chanel Rouge Double Intensité Ultra Wear Lip Colour, $35
57 Darling Pink
58 Coral Dream
Darling Pink is a soft pink and Coral Dream is a coral red.
Glorious long-lasting colour paired with high-shine gloss delivers full-coverage colour that lasts all day. Glossy top coat imparts brilliant shine and superb hydration, while the innovative fluid texture of the base colour coat applies smoothly, comfortably, with perfect adherence to lips – and no transferring or feathering.
