I’ve been using Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation for a few years now. It is one of my HG (Holy Grail) foundations that is long lasting on my combination oily/dry skin. It also doesn’t break me out anymore and gives a very beautiful finish. I know that I should have reviewed it a long time ago, but haven’t got the chance to do so until now.
What MAKE UP FOR EVER says about it:

HD (HIGH DEFINITION) INVISIBLE COVER FOUNDATION
I got my Make Up For Ever HD foundation in the shade 120 (Soft Sand) which has a yellow undertone. But I feel like I should have gotten 117 (Marble) instead. As you may notice in the arm swatches below, it had oxidized on me after blending it. So the next time I buy it, I need to get the lighter shade with a yellow undertone which is 117.
3 pumps of MUFE HD Invisible Cover is all it takes to create a medium coverage on me. If I want full coverage, then I would probably need 5 pumps of the product. But I usually only do medium coverage, like in the photos in this post. The finish is not matte, but more luminous. Although, once I set it with powder, it becomes more matte, but still not flat out matte.
It has NO SPF (sun protection) at all, so it doesn’t give that white cast in photos. I also love how soft my skin looks in pictures whenever I use it. Really High Definition! If I’m to appear on TV, I guess I’ll look very flawless indeed. Like that’s ever going to happen, lol! It’s still not perfect, though. Some of my larger and darker blemishes and dark spots still need the power of a good concealer in order to hide them. But, light and small blemishes are covered. I love how it doesn’t feel heavy on my skin, so I feel like my skin could still breathe underneath the foundation.
Even without a primer, Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover is able to even out my skintone, cover up my pores and conceal some of my blemishes. But when used with a primer like Make Up For Ever HD Primer, the finish is more beautiful! It also lasts for around 6 to 8 hours on my combination oily/dry skin. With a good primer, it even lasts longer than that. Really HG material! <3 I can say that MUFE HD foundation is safe for my sensitive skin. To be honest, when I first started using it, I did get a few pimples. But this is normal for me every time I use a new skin product. But now that I’ve been using it for a long time already, my skin had already gotten accustomed to it so I don’t break out anymore. That is, as long as I clean my face thoroughly after removing all makeup. 😉
The foundation is housed in a hard plastic bottle with a black cap. I’m so glad that it comes with a pump that precisely dispenses the product, thus wasting nothing and does not clog at all. Remember to shake the bottle well before each use. I sometimes forget to do this, lol!
MAKE UP FOR EVER RECOMMENDED APPLICATION:
☆ Apply with the HD Sponge, Ellipse Sponge or foundation brush. Give a velvety finish to the skin with the HD Powder.
☆ Do not use a sponge that is too absorbent: only a small amount of foundation is necessary to even out the skin tone.
☆ Thanks to its light, fluid texture, the HD Foundation can be applied with an air brush or mixed with Airbrush Thinner 246.
I bought Make Up For Ever HD foundation for around Php2,500 (I can’t remember it’s exact price) from the Make Up For Ever store in Greenbelt 3. It’s also available for $43 at Sephora.
