When it comes to lipsticks, MAC Mehr is one of the classics, well at least to me. It’s one of my no-brainer, everyday lipsticks, which goes well with almost all of my makeup and clothes. Whenever I go out on errands, I usually have no makeup on save for the lipstick, and this is what I reach for the most. This is just my second tube but I think I’ll be buying a third one soon (don’t want to run out of it).
What M•A•C says about their lipsticks:
Colour plus texture for the lips. Stands out on the runway. Simmers on the street! What made M•A•C famous.
The finish is matte, but although it’s not moisturizing especially on my always dry lips, it doesn’t dry out my lips either. I also like that it glides on easily without tugging on my lips. I would love for it to be moisturizing, but what do I expect from a matte lipstick? At least it doesn’t dry out my lips, and I’m already happy with that. 😉
The color on the tube is a little dark, but when swatched, it is a medium rosy pink. On my lips, it’s darker than MAC Cosmo, and Cosmo has a sheen to it as opposed to Mehr being matte.
I bought it last year from their Glorietta 4 branch for Php1, 000. I want to buy another one so I can have a backup but they’re always out of stock. So if you want to buy this shade as well, you might want to call the M•A•C stores near you first, to check if they have it in stock before dropping by.
