I have been using K-Palette 1Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliners for more than a year already, and have been loving them ever since. Prior to discovering K-Palette eyeliners, I was using Chanel’s Ecriture de Chanel Automatic Liquid Eyeliner and was already satisfied with it. But the price of Chanel Automatic Liquid Eyeliner is more than double the price of K-Palette 1Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner. In terms of application, K-Palette is also better than Chanel. Ecriture de Chanel tugs on my eyes and it’s also difficult to know how many times you need to twist it for the right amount of product you need.
The K-Palette 1Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner’s new formula boasts of instant dry feature to avoid smudging and product transfers, especially during application. The new formula also contains 3 beauty essences to care for the delicate eye area.
It is available in two shades: Super Black and Deep Brown. I got the Deep Brown shade (Photo below) this time because I’ve always been using black liquid eyeliners and I figured why not try other shades. I’ve also recently bought Etude House Proof 10 Gelquid Liner in shade GR701 Forest (reviewed here).
I have very sensitive eyes, so whenever I use new eye makeup, my eyes usually get irritated, but that is not the case with K-Palette 1Day Tattoo eyeliner. It also glides easily and smoothly on the lash line, and dries really fast. With its fine-tipped brush, I can draw from thin to thick lines with ease. I also find that I can also add more layers without it getting thick and sort of cakey.
I love that K-Palette 1Day Tattoo eyeliner is smudge-proof, waterproof, and super long lasting. The water resistant coat polymer keeps fine eye lines 24 hours. It really feels like a 1 day tattoo. It’s also amazing how easy it is to remove even with just hot (NOT scorching hot, just the right temperature you use in the shower) water, although most of time I still use an eye makeup remover.
I also have the Micro K-Palette 1Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner (Photo above). This quick-drying liquid eyeliner has a special brush tip and high water-resistant polymers, giving you superb control for creating remarkable smudge-resistant effects. It’s a film type eyeliner and the brush tip is very fine that it’s easy to use on the inner corner of the lash line. The only thing I didn’t like about this purchase is that I got a damaged brush as you can see in the picture above. Next time I’ll be sure to check it first! 🙂
Directions for Use:
1. Apply the liquid eyeliner as close as possible to the lash line. Make a series of small marks, instead of one straight line across, to give you more control of the eyeliner.
2. Connect the series of small marks as you move along the lash line.
3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 on your other eye.
4. Check both eyes carefully in a mirror. Small mistakes and smudges can be erased using a dab of liquid eye makeup remover on a cotton swab.
Caution: Do not apply to damaged, broken, or inflamed areas of the skin.
I bought the K-Palette 1Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner and the Micro K-Palette 1Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner from Beauty Bar in Robinsons Manila for Php795 each. They’re also available for around $15 in the United States, Canada and UK. This is my current favorite brand when it comes to basic black and brown eyeliners, and I hope that they don’t reformulate it.
